For everyone, 2020 was an atypical year. Faced with moving countries, and having spent more time with my family and friends in the UK than I had in years, I picked up my Grandfather’s SLR and started shooting for the first time since my first year of undergrad (so, 12 years ago?).
I am enjoying my escapades as an amateur photographer. It’s nice to meander around and see what catches the eye. Below are some of my favourite shots I’ve taken so far organised thematically. My philosophy with my photography is very simple - I limit myself to the technology that finds it’s way to me, and focus upon elements that push my practice as a composer of images.
